I tried the blue switches, but to me it's much too clicky clacky.

I really like it so far!
Besides, I really needed a new board as my previous one (membrane) suffered from sticking keys; not physically mind you, but pressing many keys at once or pressing one key for a long time would cause it to stick. Annoying as hell in games, but also in programs like photshop.

Brown switches, imo, are the best. They just feel nice to type on. I love my CM Quickfire Rapid-i, btw. Best keyboard I've ever bought... besides my IBM Model M that is. THAT thing rules.

My four grown "kids" got together and got me an Amazon Fire HD6 for my Christmas/Birthday gift this year. I already have Amazon Prime, so, I'm on my way....

Just a bit concerned about the battery life on this one.

probably speaks to my vanity or some such..

Got myself some new background lighting. Sorry for the bad quality mobile picture but phones aren't really good in the dark.

Anyone that truly knows me knows I love, among other things, Star Wars and puzzles. So when someone goes and makes a Star Wars based Perplexus... I want it. And wouldn't you know it, I found one sitting under the tree this morning.

Got some shots of the new tripod after a bit of wrestling with Camera RAW :)

Super handy removable/rotating/free pivoting ball head
    [IMG]

Probably the best quality mounting plate i've used to date, full metal so no flex in it, and the tolerances are just tight enough for it to feel very safe and secure when it's slid into it's rails on the head
    [IMG]

(Scuse the shaky shot) SCREW MOUNT!!! F-YEAH! LOVE screw mounts, no more crappy fragile flippy out plastic handle to release the mounting plate, actual mechanical screw mechanisms don't wear out anywhere near as fast and make a MUCH more secure fitting for the mounting plate
    [IMG]

Additional weight hook too :) Or in my case, Tripod bag holder :p
    [IMG]

    Also, Dat Bokeh.
These were taken on the 1200D's 18-55mm kit lens...
The freaking KIT LENS o_O they've come a hell of a long way even in the last 5/6 years have kit lenses

I just happen to like green. I switch it to a dimmer red when I watch a movie though, it gives that extra theatre feel. It's an RGB LED-strip so I can adjust the colour somewhat.

Mousey, if you plan on doing any super-zoom shots, I would very highly recommend you get this head for your new tripod:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/124665-REG/Manfrotto_410_410_Junior_Geared_Head.html

It allows for fine tuning/framing your shot on those super-zoomed subjects, e.g., moon shots ... where the subject is constantly moving.

Your tripod looks quite a bit like the heavy duty one I got a couple of years ago.

It's actually more for video than anything else but the more photos I take the more I'm remembering how much I loved photography :)

I'll have a look into one of those heads, can never hurt to have the flexibility, cheers mate :)

The tripod I bought came with a special video control head. I have that, but, I picked up the fine-tuning head for still photos. This is the tripod I got, with its original head in the image....

I wasn't expecting to get any more games this year, but what can I say, they were very low priced when I saw them and I am a very weak gamer.

I played Sleeping Dogs, the environment I thought was stunning when I first ran it way back when. And I won it in a HH competition too. Lol.

All my friends were having so much fun with this game I had to get it, and it's on sale now.
