All of the above for the price mentioned previously.

And, for now, at least, it appears the upload a file is working after I did a "Firefox Reset". Something must have been totally messed up even after a few updates. We'll see if the "fix" sticks.

Now now.. the obvious reason would be that the 1TB 860 Evo is anywhere from $80 to $100 cheaper. That's money that can be used elsewhere.

Personally I'd go with the m.2 970 Evo Plus, but that's purely an access speed choice. I want things to load as fast as possible.

Are you going to remain with AMD for a video card?

Awesome find. You know I still play the NES version every now and again? Never get tired of it. Even games like Genghis Khan, Uncharted Waters, Bandit Kings of Ancient China, Gemfire, L'Empereur, Rampart, and so on.. just love those games.

Thanks. I still play the ST version so yes I believe you. :)
To be fair, all the games you mentioned are still not just fully playable (haven't aged that bad), but also great games.
Although I have to admit I never heard of Gemfire before. I will have to take a look.

It's from Koei. Plays like all their Asian inspired strategy games, but it takes place in medieval fantasy times (knights, wizards, orcs, and so on). There is a PC version too. I pretty much got hooked on all their strategy games for the consoles.

I'm keeping the RX 590, yes.

System is up and running. I had to make a couple of trips for items after beginning the assembly.

    1. Had no cradle for the SSD...which I did think I had one.

    2. Then, realized the mobo had only 6 SATA connections...need 8. So, bought a 2-channel/4-port interface card.

Got my Steam account back up and active, and my Ubi Account. (These had been installed on a separate HDD. So, I was able to play a bit of AC: Odyssey last night without any loss of progress. :) )

Need to do some more benchmarking. :)

The SSD I got was only $115 after the discount I got for going with a bundle from Micro Center.

Why not spring for a Radeon VII?

Or are you waiting for its replacement?

I only just got this card a few months ago. There's no real reason to do so for awhile. I'll wait until my d-i-l is ready to do a GPU upgrade and sell this one to her. She's already buying my Intel kit.

Where is your e-peen hunger at? Your GPU is a symbol of power and fertility. Almost like a Hummer.

well.... do i spend $500 or arguably less on a new gpu that is as fast as a 2080/2070s.... or do i spend $700-1200 on a 2080/2070s and gain nothing really worth mentioning for the price.

Currently the RX 570/580's and the RX 5700 pulse are the industry budget gpus. (granted the 5700 is quite a bit more expensive than the 580 however it's performance per dollar is still valid)

    Yeah, I feel you homie.

    Do yo thang.

At the time I bought my card the RX 5700 wasn't even on the horizon so I don't mind my purchase of a 2080.
