It is idd a 1090t. Blind, I am.
Um... Nope. I'm sure it says "X6 1090T".
Sshh! He didn't notice...
I did, was just too polite
You are getting way too easily distracted lately. Someone is in love
More likely a lack of sleep
Not all of it. I have a CM 690 II Advanced that it will go into, plus I still have to order the other 8GB RAM.
And before anyone asks...it's an X6 1090T
Looking very shiny OB going to demand pics as the norm, ofc.
Well I should be swapping my 5870 for a 570 soon, as my little sister needs a new computer (lost it in the floods while it was at the repair shop). So she'll be the lucky owner of my 5870 while I'll get the 570 for [email protected]
Went to buy Dead Space 2, swapped for the CE, and noticed a box being hidden behind all the DS2 CE boxes: a Little Big Planet 2 CE. Can anyone say impulse buy? Well worth it though. This 7" Sackboy sitting on my desk is so damn cute!
<ack!> :wtf: Did I just say that? I meant cool... really.. I meant cool. I..
<sigh>... it's... cute.
Tipstaff, is it okay if I screenshot that post for future posterity?
How is DS2/LBP2? Did you crack either of them open yet?
I've been doing some system upgrading lately.
Intel i7 950 Processor;
MSI X58A-GD45 Motherboard;
OCZ Triple Channel 1600 DDR3; and,
just yesterday picked up this:
Cooler Master Hyper N520:
I still have yet to install this as I've been busy upgrading my son's system with my previous build and adding a HD 5750 to that one.
I also was able to acquire an official MS Wheel for my XBOX 360. Got it used, but in like-new condition for $80. Works like a new one, too!
nice gotta scratch that upgrade itch
Zoom H1 - might post a mini-review if I get the chance
I've been using a similarly designed ZeroTherm CPU cooler for quite a while. In fact, I'd still be using it except that the backplate attachment wouldn't work with my new MSI X58A board. So, I left that cooler with the system I gave my son and picked this one up. The main difference between them is the additional fan on the back side. The Z/T had only the one fan on the front. But, my case already has an exhaust fan in that same area. So, triple the airflow should be an interesting development.
I'll likely not get to this until early next week due to having to pull the motherboard out to place the backplate.
Will definitely post some results.
Sure.. if you want.
Cracked them both open, only installed DS2 (2 DVDs btw). Didn't get a chance to play just yet, but will do tonight.
Edit: So far I have to say I'm really damn impressed by DS2. It is just as good as the first. A bit more linear, but man what a ride so far. I'm still playing the first "chapter" as it were, and I've already jumped in my seat a couple times. Oh... and I died within the first 30 seconds of playing the game. Yes.. how f'd up is that?!?!!?
Anyways, if any of you liked the first one definately grab this one. Your first impression may be that this is a "been there, done that" game from the way it plays, but the story and gameplay is so good that it doesn't feel like that.
sweet upgrade OB ... i have to admit i was looking at the 6 core phenom 2 as well
A nice man in a large brown truck left this on my doorstep yesterday
The rest of it should show up on monday. The case came from Tennessee so it got here in two days while everything else came from California through newegg naturally. The specs for this new system are now in my profile :drool:
Oooh exciting stuff man!
Tbh I wasn't keen on the looks of the Antec Darkfleet series, but everyones different. enjoy it
