The next generation of consoles is just over a year away, as the Xbox Project Scarlett is confirmed to release next holiday season. The new consoles are set to bring with them massive leaps in power, which will undoubtedly bring a new era of visual fidelity to games. According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, it may even be difficult to tell games apart from real life.

Speaking in an interview, Zelnick, who has presumably already seen next-generation hardware in action, stated that, "...we're going to reach a point where you won't be able to tell the difference between what's created in the computer and what's real." Zelnick also said that the new hardware will allow the company to accomplish things it's never been able to do before creatively. Take-Two is one of the biggest publishers on the market, with the likes of Borderlands 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, and the NBA 2K series all under its belt. The possibilities of what the company will be able to achieve with new hardware is particularly interesting.
