For those who aren't aware.....the new Celeron 1.7 is a P4-based, 478 socket chip. I've been running, and liking, Celerons since the legendary 366. Anyway, I got this chip in yesterday from newegg.com (far as I can tell, they're the only stateside folks who have them so far). Spend only about 15 minutes with it. First thing I did was OC it to 110fsb - 1.8G. It 'felt' strong. Will be focusing on its OC-ability later in the week/weekend on a Asus P4B. If anyone's interested I'll drop by here with an OC report and some benchmarks.
