Any good small safe software to download torrents? Basically I want to download a single file but it is only available through torrent.

It's been a few years but I always used Bit Tornado. Small, simple, does the trick.

Why not use the official Bit Torrent client? That should be the safest one, at least one without extra shady stuff in it like some other clients have.

I thought people started avoiding the official client exactly for those shady things that have crept into it?

If the contents of the torrent are less than a gigabyte, I use http://zbigz.com/. However, they're currently being attacked by Denial of Service, so you'll have to wait a few days to try yourself.

Damn, I haven't downloaded a torrent directly to my computer in close to a decade.... Sorry, but the last client I installed on a PC was Azureus! :p

Once I got a SeedBox I never looked back!

    Hi guys! ;)

I hope it's ok to put it here. I've recently faced some issues with torrenting in my country...
It has become prohibited by law. How can I bypass these restrictions?
Whether VPNs can help me with this? Can some of the services reviewed on Cnet or here help me?
Maybe, some of you had the same issue.

    Thank you in advance!
