It is, for several reasons I'm not going to talk a out on a public forum.
For us here in the USA, it's tax month. So, depending on how the taxes are, one can get a refund OR owe a bunch. I did owe some...but just a little. And, I'd rather owe a little rather than give Uncle Sam an interest-free loan throughout the year since the IRS doesn't pay any interest on whatever is taken out in taxes for the previous year. What I owed was just a few hundred...which can be handled fairly easily.
don’t ever drink beer at home any more, but super busy today and temp was mid 20’s all day (so basically actual Hell hot as far as us highlanders are concerned)
so this, icy cold wonder-ness, was gratefully received this evening
Now there's a game Ubi hasn't touched yet.
lamb Moussaka...I have not made this for a very long time..
For Brunch today...
1st, as it was served...
This is, to me, the Best Western Omelette in the area!
Then, after I put on the Salsa....
Nice to have a little bit of Salmon now & then as a treat..
looks extremely good, But for me I'm not sure about the Salsa But images can be deceiving.
Steak & Ale Pie (Pub Style) with Rustic French Fries (with a little potato skin left on)
Oh I Want this in my mouth NOW!
Went down like a treat..
stuffed aubergine be delicious
(with my standard bratwurst and salad)
A lot of breakfast places won't have the Salsa. But, this place is actually a Bar & Grill that has Tex-Mex style food as well. So, I can get the Salsa for the Western Omelette here that I can't get elsewhere. It adds some spice to the dish. Some people may want some hot sauce instead.
I actually like this stuff on my eggs, although most times I go for ketchup:
Pork Steak with Brandy & Apple Sauce... I also have enough left over for tomorrow
some days there’s just a need
there’s bacon hiding as well. not quite as unhealthy as it looks; all grilled (not fried) & the eggs are poached
Obscene! Love it.
From yesterday. Not bad, but it could have been better.
meh, in for a penny...
really nice beer this actually
For me that is Chips / Peas / Mushrooms... Cumberland Sausage / Rump Steak / A slice of Gammon.. (The Steak is a little buried under the gammon)
Only downside were I went a little overboard on the peas
