devoured so much turkey dressing.... i'm going to have horrible gas for the next 2 weeks..

then again there is community based thanks giving dinners every sunday for the next 4 weeks at least... mostly due to the fact that canadian thanks giving goes for ages.... and we figure... :x it, we'll carry it on until united states thanks giving too.

We had ham for thanks giving this year because my best friend's brother's wife doesn't like making turkey. ;)

Are you living near Chattanooga? I'm living in Marietta, GA. Some of us like to go up to Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range...near Lafayette...to do target shooting. It's probably about as far from Chattanooga as it is from Marietta. Takes us about an hour to get there.

I was just there...MicroCenter...this evening. I go to the one in Marietta. It's less than 10 min from where I live. I also love going to Fry's over in Milton. But, that's more like a 45 min drive for me.

Sausage Soup, as we call it. Supposedly a classic autumn season dish from my finnish heritage. A mix of a number of autumn vegetables I can't spell out in english, but various onions and root vegetables complementing a meal base of potatoes and mild sausage. Technically a stew and it only gets better the longer it gets to simmer. I should have taken a picture, but here's an acceptable facsimile I stole from the web. I could eat this several times a week if I only bothered to put it together more often.
