Well I was just curious, I'm retired myself, I know I know, how can you be retired so young, well it's a long story I don't want to go into. I used to be a Computer Tech when I worked, fixing software and hardware problems. Before that I was a Salesman. But I do have an Associates Degree in Computer Programming and A+ Certification so I'm not dumb.

Soooo, I know Dyre is a Pizza Delivery Guy now although I don't know what his main job was when he was working before, Teme is a Taxi/Bus driver, and Mousey a Programmer, but what about the rest of you? :)

Edit: btw, fun fact, it was Zardon who changed my occupation in my profile page to "Secret Agent Man" lol.

I've been making pizza deliveries since April, 2004.

Prior to that, going back to 1984, I had my own construction/remodeling business here in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. I did a lot of repaints, basement completions, interior kitchen/bathroom remodels, and even some small new construction projects. A few of the houses I worked on were in the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth houses. I was able to do just about any of the work required: Carpentry, drywall/sheetrock, electrical/plumbing, painting...you name it.

The main reason I got out of the business was due to the fact that I almost "never left my work." There was always something to have to deal with even when I got home. Things like making sure the materials for the next day/job were lined up and accounted for, the labor was going to show up, putting together quotes and pricing...etc., etc. It got to where I was dreaming about it in my sleep...whenever I could get to sleep, that is.

Getting out of that and into pizza delivery has made me a much more relaxed and casual guy. I enjoy meeting the new customers we have and dealing with those who are repeat customers. There are a few of those long-time customers who won't finish paying for the order until I tell them a joke! It's one of my trademarks...always leave the customer laughing. :)

It's been nice to come home after work and forget about the business side of things and just relax and play some video games. :)

I'm a web developer :) (PHP, Working specifically with the Laravel framework for anyone interested), Or as my boss says i should call myself; "Online Application Engineer"

It's my dream job, wanted to do it for the past couple of years and my new boss gave me a shot :)

Looking around an office floor and seeing everyone using the tools you built for them is a really awesome feeling, One of the team leaders left me a box of chocolates on my desk with a little thank you note the other day. I'd rewritten a file upload system for them to make it quicker and allow more information to be added to the system in 1 go :)

Unfortunately I can't say because it would require me explaining other things I would rather not. But I do not have to work, although lately I have been getting rather bored with nothing to do but play games and surf the net and basically watch TV shows and movies all day. Don't get me wrong, at first it was GREAT, but now, strangely enough as I'm nearing 30 (I turn 30 on May 21st) I feel like I need to do something to keep me busy so this year I think I might return to the work force and maybe take up my former job as a hardware technician.

We are not meant to have no purpose, I know this now, in my youth I was taken in by the folly of believing that you didn't need to work, or do anything, but one needs to either work or have a family or some kind of purpose in this world or one will go mad. I haven't worked for the past 6 or so years so yes, I will be starting part-time, and then slowly easing into full time work just so I can have something to keep me busy. Playing games and going out with friends all the time has gotten boring.

And no I'm not rich lol. I have, well, enough to eat, have shelter, buy clothes and the occasional game or whatever from time to time. I'm not a trust fund baby either although I do know like 3 trust fund babies whom I envy sometimes because they're all mama's boys and they get anything they literally want.

I'm working as a BUM lol, Na more seriously I'm had some medical problems a few years ago, ended up moving about the same time from Indianapolis to back to Bloomington again for better living conditions and to be closer to my family. (My brother had recently died, my mom had cancer needed moral support). Wife works overnights so ended up with the role of stay at home dad, but do odd jobs here off the books cash work stuff like that. Last major one was hanging vinyls on billboards... Working on getting a steady job again ( got something lined up while I look at getting something better.)

(Without telling a bunch of stories strangely major changes in my life tend to happen in clusters, like a bunch of big things happen at once its odd)

Wow, so sorry to hear about your brother and mum. :(

Yeah, my story is medical too, just that I'm lucky there are funds incoming that I can take care of myself.
