Watched The Osiris Child, I really liked the ending but I wished they could have shown us more, it seemed like if there will be a sequel, we will have already forgotten how the first one ended. Otherwise if you like action and sci-fi, and enjoy a touching movie, I recommend it indeed.

I watched Adjustment Bureau last night.
A romantic movie covered in a sci-fi action veil. Interesting movie. I am a sucker for Emily Blunt though so that might have affected me.
Solid performance from everyone and very good production.

I watched The Girl on the Train last night. Another Emily Blunt movie. This time a mystery/crime/thriller movie. Great production and solid film. Very different storyline than usual. Not usually my type of film, but this time I remained glued to the screen till the end.

Watched Bladerunner 2049, good movie, very touching, took a while for the story to build up so I watched it over multiple sittings. Still enjoyed it though.

I think it's absolutely great. It's a good sequel, a very good one. Even though they didn't use Vangelis for the score the sound was very much like the original score so I'm happy with that as well.

I have to say the sound was excellent, and really captured the mood of every scene perfectly.

Also watched Bright last night, and I have to say I rather enjoyed it. The critics that say that it is "terrible" need their ears and eyes checked.

Just watched Repo Men. Only at the very end I remembered I have seen this before. Which is very weird. A sense/memory of having seen this about 20+ years ago. For a 2010 movie. Weird.

Anyway, an OK movie which gets better when it ends. Take it as you wish.

Sometimes you get nostalgia when a part or even all of the story resembles something else that you've seen before.

I watched Thor: Ragnarok, I actually found it quite funny, good action in it but in that department I found it to be slightly lacking, still a good ride. Recommended viewing.

I saw "The man from Earth: Holocene" a few days ago. The original is one of my favourite movies, it's so simple and yet very catching. This sequel isn't as good but it's not bad either. I liked it for what it is.

The thing that makes it worth to watch is probably that it's the same main characters and the same director as well as writer so the feel of it is quite similar.

I watched Beyond Skyline, which is actually Skyline 2 and the action is pretty good. I don't know why critics on places like Rotten Tomatoes love to give the vast majority of movies bad reviews, and I have a friend who doesn't watch movies based on bad or good reviews, so yes, there are people out there that decide what to watch based on what review scores movies get, I feel sorry for them coz they miss out on a lot of good movies.

I saw that a little while ago. The first Skyline was bad, I didn't like it at all. This one was actually better but I still don't think it was good.

    I wouldn't call it a sequel though since it's a parallell story.

It was kind of parallel but it did tell the tale of the first people captured by the alien ship from the first movie although that part of the movie wasn't much.

Went to see Pacific Rim: Uprising at the theater this afternoon.

I hadn't seen the first one so I bought the BD last night and watched that at home. I'm very glad I did as there are some "continuation" matters in the current one.

Hmmm, interesting, didn't know there was a new one, I had thought too that there were at least two before this one out but I was wrong. Look forward to seeing it soon.
