I really enjoyed that movie, also wanted to add, if you haven't watched Will Smith's Hancock then check it out, it is similar to My Super Ex-Girlfriend and I think it is pretty funny too. :)

I watched Bird Box, found it good. I give it an 8 out of 10. It manages to be scary even if the main idea of the movie, were it to be pitched to you as say a potential actor, you wouldn't find very interesting. But they pulled it off somehow.

Yes I intended not to post spoilers. :)

Don't worry, I'll keep it spoiler friendly and use tags.

It must be hard posting news, if you want I can take over for the time being as you're going to see spoilers on the net regularly if you browse around.

Well I didn't think of that, the scene with the little girl who said she wanted to fight touched me.

And the blacksmith bastard scored himself a hot girl. Aya Stark is so hot (and no she isn't too young, just short).

My sister wanted to watch the boy who would be king (a childrens king arthur story).... which was for the most part.... garbage aside from the fact that the CGI was decent.

I then followed it up by watching King Arthur, the legend of the sword.... which was arguably quite fantastic.

I just got done watching The Upside, I think Kevin Hart outdid himself. If you liked The Bucket List, then you'll love this movie. It's a feel good film through and through.

    Plus the comedy is golden.

Apologies for that I really should have thought it through

What if we use a separate thread for GoT until you catch up?

I am watching (1.5 hours in) Joan of Arc (Luc Besson's). It's even better than the last time I watched it.

Two days ago I watched Son of God (2014). A story about Jesus, mostly about the last days before he got arrested and after.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the work they did in this film. Sure the budget wasn't exactly Gladiator, and the use of some special effects were a bit cringy, but overall it looked and felt good. Also it was nice to see that not all actors looked like Vikings. The actor playing Jesus is Portuguese although he is the palest Portuguese I have ever seen. ANYWAY, most of the time the acting was superb, the script very close to the real thing and for the most part no extra background story. It's just a 2 hour movie so they didn't exactly have too much time to fill considering the source material.
Seeing and listening the Romans being obviously British is always fun too.
    Very good movie.

I saw Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse, it took a couple of sittings to finish even though I did finish it in the same day I started watching it. It wasn't bad, the star of the movie (it is a sort of cell shaded CGI movie) wasn't the best I don't think, but I really liked the ending. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who a) likes animated or anime stuff or b) loves superhero movies.

Watched The Incredibles 2, I didn't know it was such a great ride, but at the same time I thought the ending was a little weak. Other than that it was a real feel good film. Wonderful for the family for those of you that are family men (and women). :)

It's actually a 2018 movie, I took my time getting to it, it didn't come out recently, but it's definitely worth checking out. Especially if you liked the first one.

Just saw Unbroken, with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, I think it is M. Night Shyamalan's greatest work, it is excellent. If you like superhero movies (although this one is much more realistic) and comics you'll love this movie. 9/10.
