Yes. Interesting how they went for the CGI to a Pre Terminator 2 level of quality.
Other than that, it looks ok although so fucking stupid (plane).

I have hope, they brought back John Cameron of course. And I just love Arnie.

I watched for the first time the sequel to Independence Day. People said it sucked. I was right to assume they were full of shit. While it's not the best movie ever, or even the best sci-fi ever, or close, it's far far from a bad movie. It was a fun couple of hours and I am glad I watched it.

Ok, edited my post, please edit my quote out of your post. Also don't worry, by the time you finally get round to watching it you will have forgotten what I said about it.

Also watched Rim of the World on Netflix last night and for you guys that like sci fi movies, this ones a good one.

I saw The Changeover yesterday night, didn't know that New Zealand put out such great films.

It's pacing was a bit weird but well worth a watch.

Beverly Hills Cop. The first one after many years.
Good jokes, vibe, missing the 80s. As a movie, not as good as I remembered it, but still a classic for me.

After many years I watched First Knight again last night. Well, not all as I didn't have the time, but about half of it. In some parts the movie has aged very well, in some not so much. One thing is for certain, I never liked Richard Gere as Lancelot, I found him 100% irritating and 100% asshole. This hasn't changed. Sean Connery is/was Sean Connery as he is in all his movies. Same with Anthony Hopkins (not in this movie) who always felt like he played the same character.
Julia Ormond showed good acting skills as did Ben Cross.
    Good movie, but not great.
In the same overall setting I far far prefer Excalibur.
BTW, one thing I definitely didn't notice (or if I did I don't remember) was at one point where Lancelot was giving water to Guinevere. So many sexual innuendos in one scene!

Saw Pokemon Detective Pikachu and I was not impressed to say the least. Had to watch in multiple sittings. It started out alright but then it just turned into pre school baby time.

Saw Dark Phoenix this past weekend. It was billed as 3D...even was given 3D glasses...but, it was NOT in 3D. Still trying to figure out where they messed up on that.

Will likely be seeing Men in Black: International this coming weekend.

The AMC Pass membership is certainly paying for itself with the movies I've seen lately. This is something I rarely would do because of the cost of just one movie. Here, the Senior cost comes to $17 plus change per show...which would be for the IMAX version. But, for $23+change, per month, I can see up to 3 movies PER WEEK at no additional charge. So, even one show per week will save me some money with the membership.
