Nope ... A bit better phone
I bet it's one of these!
It's a Nokia of some form teme. We know you too well lol.
Nokia Lumia 800 ?
If I would had ordered Lumia 800 I would have it on my hand right now
So it is Lumia 900!
It's been many years since i last used a Nokia,So i don't know haw far advanced the stuff is currently..
The only reason i picked out the Lumia 800 is my niece renewd her contract a couple of days ago..
She got Lumia 800???
I've seen the Pureview 808. In it heart it's Symbian phone with advanced camera that has 3 times digital no loss zoom. The demo images of that thing are stunning. One image was this monument in some where in Europe and when you zoom in you can find sunglasses left to the fence in the picture.
Erm sorry i forgot to mention it were the Lumia 800 Pink she got as a replacement to her Sony Erickson.
Oddly enough to get the phone transfered from her Expired Contract with £100 cash Back (Not sure why) a code to have a pair of Dr Dre Beats Cans delivered for Free (worth in excess of £100) which she will Ebay them and get more Cash..
Sounds like she won in the lottery then
So how she likes it? I hear that the curved glass makes scrolling much easier.
I tried it for a short time and the curved glass did seem to make a diffrence but how much i can't say sor sure...
This is the First Smartphone let alone a Windows Based phone she has used... She has no idea on how it works apart from the basics..
Give her a little time she will pick it up quite fast,So it's a Learning Experiance as she has only had it for 3/4 days now...
Yeah! Jason do keep us updated how she likes it. I bet there are few others than me who are eager to hear how it goes
Picked up an AT&T i777 Samsung Galaxy S2 the other day. Pretty nice for 100 bux. ATT data plans suck, with the lowest tier being 20$ a mon. for 300MB which will auto bump to the 30$ 3GB plan if need be.
Phone is awesome considering I'm coming from an old Samsung blackjack.
A friend has had an original Galaxy since launch and got me pointed in the right direction on all the proper infos. task650 over at xda has been building the AOKP releases for this phone almost daily since it is not officially supported. I left it at stock for all of about a day, then have been flashing evey few days. Its nice to have stock android with no carrier crap over top of it. Great stuff!
I'm glad to find that Android 4.0 ICS now works well with my simple ZTE Blade through the ColdFusionX mod ROM. I was expecting that such a technically old device would have to settle for 2.x, but it's smoother than ever. RAM usage is much higher but since this second generation Blade has 512MB there's still plenty of room. The units meagre local storage is getting squeamish though and A2SD/S2E is not working without further modification yet, but the ROM will probably have that solved fairly soon.
I got lazy on rooting my Lucid. I haven't done it yet. I want to do it still so I can at least get my WiFi tethering back up and running. I'll have faster internet than my home internet! LOL
Bah.. still no ICS for my Xperia Pro...
Only got a bog standard Nokia C3, but have heard the Lumia is decent. Is that so?
Do read our review of Lumia 800. I've been able to play with the 800 and 900 and I do like the metro interface.
Cool, will do
Just snagged this, replacing my Galaxy S 1.5 (Tmobile 4G). Tmobile has no reception on my campus, and the Razr's Verizon service is a lot more tolerable. Have to say I love it a lot more -- Samsung phones, to me, just feel cheap with the plastic casing. Mine was sort of a lemon (had a slew of bad batteries), and the Razr is just a step up in terms of overall quality (kevlar versus plastic back material...).
I don't like the battery isn't removable, and verizon's bloatware is horrific, but I'd still say it's probably the best phone I've had since the Motorola original razr and pebl.
