    Hi,

after a long time i'm writing because i want to tell
you about my latest experience with WIN10Pro-x64 v.18362.175
    & x-fi fatal1ty champion.

All works smoothly - i installed: ALchemy, Con Launcher,
THX Con, Audio Con, Remote Ctr, OnScreen Disp, Soundfont ...,
DDL, DTS Conect (both decoder + encoder with all settings in con),
    bay and all i-o ports.

    How:

    0. Uninstall & Clean all old Ct-driver + soft on hdd (incl. Registry)

    1. edit the driver inf ...
    DRMLevel=1300
    PETrustLevel=1300
Copy'n'paste only the stuff that's not in Robert's
inf, from the new one (edit date).
Then copy that edited inf & only those files from Robert's version
that are not in the new Ct-version to the corresponding folders.

next steps are for encoder-decoder-ddl-dtsc stuff, because
i do not know if it's legal to post exactly how its done...
...so you have to find out your self but here's a little help ...

    2. some files in the DATA folder in driver+system32+SysWOW64
have changed - copy them from an older driver version.

    3. ProgramData\Creative\SoftwareLock\...
the 4-5 CT*.kga files are necessary for dtsc+ddl activation.
(Skip to install the oldest versions of ddl-dtsc, they wont work)

For me personally i build a mix of two packages from Robert and Daniel.
Basically its a boosted version of Daniels Package with Roberts driver
    optimization.
(no i cant post them ! they (R/D/Ct) don't like that)
    Soft and Driver i used:
    SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0012 Driver 2019
PAX driver by Robert McClelland - and - ct-soft-package plus driver
    from Daniel Kawakami.

have a good time folks and i hope it helps a little
    greetings

Ahh. So that works with build W10 1903 if it's based on SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0012 (beta for 1903 from May fixing PCI Creative cards [previously they stopped working on 1903]).
Daniel didn't relase driver based on this version. Robert neither.

    Great job!

Could you leave your email or set PMs to receive here? (can't send you a message now).
I can also leave my email here:
    deton24(at)gmail.com
Can I ask you for sending me these drivers?

Your drivers will probably work with other Creative X-FI PCI cards.

BTW. Today (24.06.19) have been released official drivers for X-Fi PCI/PCIe.
    Check out Creative site:
    https://support.creative.com/Products/product_list.aspx?catID=1&CatName=Sound+Blaster#
You may want to make new modded drivers version.

Just created an account to also ask for new PAX Drivers based on yesterday`s Driver update.

I can confirm the new Creative release v2.40.0019 (?) works with Windows 10 build 1903.
    All inputs/outputs are available.

Only issue is the maximum volume, which is pretty limited. Even on 100% it is pretty silent and also depends on other settings, e.g. speaker setup.
If anyone knows a workaround to increase max volume, I´d be already happy.

    ---

    Hi

    i give you that inf-mod and a some more DIY-help ...
(but ... is a pci - you must extrapolate it)

    https://ufile.io/ib6ccmtj

    download:
the newest packages from Robert, Daniel, Ct, AND ...
an latest old package from Robert in which the inf-file
is ca. >200 KB (normally ca <100 KB) .

Now it shouldn't be hard to mod the .inf on base of the
OLD one - copy all the lines not in there from the other
inf's you got, to the corresponding groups ... .

After that you have to mod cab-files of the non driver software stuff,
    like CONSOL ... etc.
(open them with Eg. 7zip or so).
Compare, edit (.ini files ...) and add the missing entries and files form Roberts mod
    to Daniels package .

Copy that edited inf & only those files from Robert's version
that are not in the new Ct-version to the corresponding folders
of Daniels version . Replace (rename) matching folder in
Audio\Drivers\xxxx (in my case: the stuff in the folder
    Audio\Drivers\SBXF with your edited SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0012 one) .

    that's it

    ---------

(on my Windows 10 system for my pci card)
    4 CTXFI*.RFX files and some ...
48 CT*.DAT files in the DATA folder in driver (later copy'd to
    system32+SysWOW64) have changed - ...
for decoder/encoder settings and function copy them from an older
driver version (event. old original install-cd? or backup-image or web).
If some of the files are not listed in the .inf then add them to
    the matching group .

if you licensed dtsc/ddl then you have some files for activation
    in ProgramData\Creative\SoftwareLock\...
the 3-5 CT*.kga files are necessary for dtsc+ddl activation.
(Skip to install the oldest versions of ddl-dtsc, they wont work)

BackUp the folders/files for relevant times ...

    greetings and ...

Hellow, I'm looking for a way to restore my decoder tab in the creative control panel or the console. It's the only functionality I need and the 1903 update breaks things, can you help?

Before i say, i'am sorry but that's all i can do and you must find out yourself ... :)
What is it that you don't really get ?

    wdma_emu.inf:

Besides the entries (configs) in the right category Robert has made available for us like 'Decoder.ini=55,Common'
and so on, or for example 'Needs=..., Decoder.Registration, ...' or CTSYSFX_FriendlyName = "Pax Decoder Effects"
or MSSYSFX_FriendlyName = "Pax Decoder Effects" etc. :

    CTAC32K.SvcDesc = "Creative AC3 Software Decoder"
    CTSYSFX_FriendlyName = "Enable Decoder"
    MSSYSFX_FriendlyName = "Enable Decoder"

The old CTXFI*.RFX and CT*.DAT files can copied (overwritten) after install (reboot)
or copied (integrated) in the driver files for complete setup in one .

    I hope i could help a little ...

    (Remember - i can't post any file of that stuff ! them ! they (R/D/Ct) don't like that !)

I already tried copying the decoder.ini and other entires in the wdma_emu.inf before and copying the old ctfx and ct files from an older pax driver, but it didn't work.

I don't need anything from PAX or whatever, I never noticed or used those things anyways, just the decoder.

    Sorry - can't help :(
It only worked for me if i use the method described .

(and by the way, the *.ini-files you refer to are only for Roberts sound optimization and if you copy them
to your sys-files under CT standard driver (and not the driver-mod) they will do nothing)

If you don't need some or most stuff, then you don't have to install them (don't see a problem here) .
