Hi, I recently contacted the forum as I was unable to use DH and CC because for some reason windows would not go into safe mode. Support was quickly forthcoming from Spike (many thanks) explaining I could use DH and CC in normal windows using it after uninstalling old drivers and before resetting computer, I tried it and it worked perfectly, so my question is why safe mode? if DH and CC work just as well in normal windows.

    Hi,

The main reason is that i started it as recommendation in the earlier Driver Cleaner versions as they did not worked good in normal windows. When i created Driver Cleaner.NET i also worked on that so it could be used in both ways. The safe mode recommendation stayed in the steps to be on the safe side and keeping the instructions a lot the same as the older version.

I will also add this in the help file by the next update for people that can not get into safe mode.
