So what would I actually gain compared to the latest official X-Fi drivers if I downloaded these modded ones? Any improvements in sound, performance, perhaps?

    Thanks Robert for this.
I was using XP x64 and 4Gb of RAM (actually using just 3 because creative drivers don't give you hardware acceleration with 4GB).
The only issue is that i can't set up the SPDIF to work, i set the decoder to "external" (i have Z-5500) but it seems that the option is just ignored.
Did someone succeeded SPDIF passthrough with these drivers ?

One more odd thing i've noticed ... when i mute the sound, i hear no more sound from speakers but the subwoofer continues the audio. Very disturbing at low volume levels.

    Um,

The only thing that the Xtreme Audio has in common with a real X-Fi is the X-Fi name and that some of the X-Fi applications work on it.

I seem to recall Leon saying the same thing with regards to the YouP drivers and the Audigy SE/LS/DE/value a long time ago.

    Hi Robert

Do these drivers include the “blue console” from the installation disk ?

I have an XtremeMusic SB0460, I have a working driver (from Creatives site) but I can only access a tabbed menu, I’ve tried an ISO of the installation drivers but I get the card not detected message.

I tested 4.00.01 pack yesterday... I've a x-fi fatality with bay (first version)...

The drivers don't function well... no more 6.1 audio (even if the option of 6.1 is correctly selected) but only stereo signal... Tested with 5.1 too and same problem...

Reverted to 2.7.0009 and all is ok...
