First of all THX for the great driver set. Way better than official drivers, i have no sound stuttering in crysis after using your 4.07 set. also music sounds so good, my friend noticed the difference in quality without me telling him that i got new drivers.

One questions, which link is for the newest xfi drivers in the links you posted. I am a bit confused.... driver 4.10a or driver V0?

You want the X-FI one if you have X-FI driver V0 (Youp_Pax-X-FI-OS-Driver-V4.10) thats one you want if you have XFI

    Hi again,
so I just rebuild my system and installed Youp_Pax-X-FI-OS-Driver-V4.10. After that I installed the X-Fi Software Suite 2008 without the driver and everything is working fine! :)
Before rebuilding system I also tried AutoUpdate the first time and it`s just working great and saves a lot of time searching for new driver versions! I like your drivers more and more every day ;)

I did not have enough time for testing this new drivers but I am going to the next days. (Assasin`s Creed via headphones can`t say much for me, I need to play and hear music with my boxes to check this out)

Thank you Robert and see ya later guys.

Thank you very much maggreg, DD Decoder tab is working like it should! BTW, if anybody still wondering what .dat is used by his card, check link at

    List of Sound Blaster Products

It lists SBXXXX products that matches ctpXXXXw.dat files... My card is also SB046A but I see that creative has this same card under SB0466 also, and for that SAME card but with different model number I would have DD/DTS decoder tab without any modifications (ctp0466w.dat has decoder tab)!
    Creative!

BTW, I tried copying ctp0466w.dat over ctp046aw.dat and HEX modifying/copy ID's at two offsets like maggreg suggested in previous posts - with success (got Decoder tab also), now I'm wondering if this is "more correct" way of doing it or is it modifying original and adding missing code better...because resulting files are not the same binary but results are the same - decoder tab is active in both cases! :)

Newest driver doesn't install correctly on Vista 64 SP1. The setup runs, but the files don't appear to be copied over.

Ok, I think I remember seeing that somewhere on the youp-pax forums. I think someone said the original creative drive infs work. So, related question - anyone know where the .exe driver extracts files to? I can't seem to find them (vista 64).

Could someone please specify what .inf files should copied from original driver package ? I've copied some and the driver finally installed on Vista x64, but how can i tell if the installed driver is the modded one ?

I need the file moded_ctp046Aw.dat in order to get my 360 working - but the link on page 30-something no longer works.
