would it work with ESI Prodigy X-Fi PCIe?

I would be very glad if you could do it. There is a brand new driver for Xtreme Audio at Creative site, but lates one for Prodigy is from 2010.

    Yeah, right :D

I've been waiting for the new drivers from Robert for a long long time... And still nothing. If you have some cash you'd be much better off running X-Fi MB3 software. I'm not sure if it would be working for your card but I own Xtreme Audio Notebook and it works for me no problem. Nice thing is that you can switch from movie to music profile using keyboard shortcuts. Technically of course sound doesn't change (it's still the same card) but effects are really nice and everything sounds richer.
