messing around with my 50m the way it wasn't supposed to be used (reverse mounted for the first few and off camera for some cheap tilt-shift style action for the later ones)

If you like macro shooting, get a cheap set of extension tubes. I paid ~$10 for mine and it turns my 50mm into a decent macro lens. I'll have to post some of my macro shoots if I can find them

Probably looking more for a bellows type system (I like control :p)
However a used toilet roll does a good job as an extension at a pinch :p

Control freak :p. I was originally going to get a bellows, but the ones I could afford were of questionable quality so I got something sturdier. The tubes I got have metal mounts but no electrical connection to the lens (Unfortunately). I'm sure I can rig something up that lets me get the connection though. Did I just go off on a tangent?
