Corsair H110 CPU Cooler Review

As we have seen in recent times when Corsair take on a new product area they tend to get things right. Their cases are a prime example of this with the 800D being very impressive for its time and the models which followed all giving competitors reason to be concerned. We also have fond memories of Corsairs liquid coolers and over the past few years our main test system has been cooled by Hydro series devices. In fact it is currently cooled by a H100.

Recently Corsair added a new model at the top end of their Hydro range of factory sealed liquid coolers. The H110 increases the radiator and fan size over the H100/H100i and looks to enhance performance while doing so. Today we have a H110 connected to our system and will see how it performs in standard and heavily overclocked scenarios using our i7-3960X.

Corsair have very distinctive branding on their products, each being a variation on the main theme and so it is no surprise to see the same basic design used here. The box gives us plenty of information on the cooler and inside we find the unit packaged securely in cardboard, wrapped in bags where appropriate. Bundled with the cooler we get a selection of installation brackets for AMD and Intel systems as well as the screws to use with each. A couple of sticky pads are also present to hold back-plates in place and Corsair supply some product documentation too.
