Corsair Vengeance C70 Case – The Build and Performance

We selected the i7-3770K for our CPU, currently the highest spec socket 1155 model and cooled it with Corsairs 2x120mm liquid cooler, the H100. Our OS was running off one of Corsairs latest Force 3 GT SSDs, released earlier this year, which happens to match the red slots on the Z77 FTW as do the 4x 4GB of DDR3, also from Corsair. A HX850 was our PSU of choice.

The build starts with the installation of the PSU passing the wiring through the holes in our C70 case from Corsair. The motherboard is then installed and the CPU cooler and SSD added.

We then wire our system up after installing the GPUs and the system is ready to boot with a decent port layout on the Z77 helping us to minimise clutter. Also worth noting is that although the Z77 FTW is an EATX board it had no trouble fitting this mid tower.
