The Spike Case

Cougar Spike front

The Spike is a mini gaming tower designed to utilise micro ATX motherboards and it measures 180x370x425mm (WxHxD). The construction is a mix of steel body and plastic front with the lower half of that surface being mesh covered for the intake location (1x 80/90/120mm). Above that intake we have space for a device such as card reader or floppy drive and towards the top two 5.25" devices.

For the front panel we have power and reset buttons, 3.5mm audio in/out and two USB ports, one of which is 3.0 spec.

On the right side of the case we find a blank surface and over on the left two locations for 12cm fans. The top is another plain metal surface and on our base the black paint continues with four rubber feet and four screw holes present (these allow us to install a SSD on the internal floor of the case).

Round at the back of the case we see that the PSU location is at the top with our I/O panel and 12cm exhaust below. A small vent can be seen bottom right and four PCIe slots sit beside it.
