Crosshair VIII Hero: the card goes underwater with EKWB!

After the small Biostar motherboards, we move on to liquid cooling… But in connection with the motherboard. This time, it’s the turn of the Crosshair VIII Hero from Asus to benefit from a monoblock. With its EK-Quantum Momentum, the brand will cool the CPU and the power supply stages of the card.

Crosshair VIII Hero: Asus card gets a monoblock from EKWB!

With this new reference, EKWB offers a block that will cool the CPU as well as the power supply stages of the Asus board. As you can see, the heatsink will be on top of these elements once it is installed. Of course, there will be two G1/4″ ports serving as input and output for the system connection.

For the rest, we have a relatively classic design. The product benefits from a nickel-plated copper construction. To add a little contrast, there is a small strip of acetal on the side. Of course, this block remains sober with a marking Crosshair VIII on the side as well as a logo EKWB in the bottom right.

In the box, we will have all the necessary elements for the assembly as well as thermal paste. With this, you will find a set of thermal pad to apply to the feeder stages of the board and a backplate for mounting.

As for the price, once again, it’s not cheap. The block is indeed displayed at 199.99 € on the store of the brand. For the availability, it is set for mid-May.
