Divider 500: new Thermaltake box to join the series!

During the Computex Thermaltake announced a lot of new Divider cases. A new model completes the series with the Divider 500, the big model of the range. This one is available in a TG or air version, in black or white!

Divider 500: the big model is coming to TT!

Thermaltake Divider 500

With this new model, the brand offers us the biggest model of the series. Indeed, it has the following dimensions: 230 (W) x 466 (D) x 530 (H) mm for a weight of 10.6 kg.

This mid-tower case will be able to accommodate motherboards in ATX, µATX and mini-ITX formats. For the rest of the components, we have:

  • CPU fan: from 155 mm to 170 mm depending on the panels installed
  • Graphics card: from 360 mm to 390 mm depending on whether there is a radiator in front
  • Power supply: from 180 mm to 220 mm depending on whether the HDD cage is present or not

By the way, since we are there, let’s talk about the storage which has a cage of two 2.5″/3.5″ compatible baskets. Otherwise, two 2.5″ trays are present at the back of the motherboard tray when three other 2.5″ slots are distributed on the right side of the motherboard, on the visible side.

As far as cooling is concerned, there are three slots for 120/140mm mills on the front and two on the top. At the rear, we will be satisfied with a 120 mm mill. Moreover, for watercooling, we can install a 360 mm radiator on the front, 280 mm max on the top and 240 mm on the right of the motherboard.

However, where the case stands out is via its side panels split in two in the direction of the diagonal. As an accessory, the manufacturer provides additional triangular glass panel in order to have complete double windows on the left or not. The same goes for the expansion slots for the graphics card. As for the S500 TG which we tested a little while ago, all slots can be mounted vertically.

Prices and availability

We finish with the prices which are ~$180 for the Divider 500 TG ARGB which lands with four fans (three RGB and one last non-luminous). The Air version will be distinguished by a perforated front, the presence of two non-RGB fans and a more affordable price: ~$160.
