For those who have a more unique requirement Edimax offer devices such as their N300 Universal Wi-Fi Extender and Wi-Fi personal hotspot (or travel router as it could be known). Today we have one of each to review. The Edimax logo is red and black on white so it is no surprise to see the packaging following a similar design. On the front of the box we get a note of some key features and a nice clear view of the product as well as a quick usage diagram. Pretty much all a consumer would need to know. Inside the box we find a quick start guide, mini-cd for software, access information and a LAN cable. The Wi-Fi Personal Hotspot packaging follows a similar colour scheme to the extender and again we get some key info on the use of the product. This time though instead of a picture we can see the product itself through the box window. Bundled with the device we get product documentation, access information and a mini-CD with software.
