Eiswolf 2: an AIO for graphics card from Alphacool!

Still on the subject of cooling, we learn this morning that Alphacool is launching its Eiswolf 2, an AIO for graphics cards based on components from the brand’s catalog.

Eiswolf 2: an AIO for graphics card with custom components!

Alphacool Eiswolf 2

With its Eiswolf 2, Alphacool offers us a solution to actively cool your graphics card. In fact, if the thing takes the form of an AIO, it is more a question of a pre-assembled and pre-filled custom loop than anything else. Indeed, each element of the loop can be purchased separately… Well, everything except the pump housing, a DC-LT 2.

In fact, the brand goes a long way with an all copper radiator. It is a NexXxos ST30 accompanied by a trio of Aurora Rise fans in 120 mm. The mills benefit from a PWM power supply and will operate from 0 RPM to 2500 RPM. At full throttle, it will blow pretty good with a static pressure of 3.17 mmH2O. The airflow shows 119.8 m3/h or 70.5 CFM after conversion.

Finally, we finish with the waterblock that will cool the critical parts of the board. Indeed, it will come into contact with the GPU, the memory chips and the power supply stages.

For compatibility, Alphacool has designed its heatsink for: RX 6800/6800 XT/6900 XT. The same goes for the nVidia series with the RTX 3080/3090 compatible. However, the compatible models remain the reference cards, no custom … For the moment at least.

We end now with a price: 244.90 €, which is not so excessive considering the components used.
