CPU Based Performance – Cinebench / PCMark

Cinebench has been a favourite test of ours for a long time now; it uses methodology comparable to a standard rendering task. It is a great indication of performance a designer can expect when using Cinema4d as the rendering engine is the same. The 64-bit build of the application was used for this test. Then we have PCMark.

Looking to Cinebench first we see that an Intel system is better suited to this type of intensive CPU test. PCMark favours the AMD build thanks to the faster built in GPU. In the direct comparison between ASUS and EVGA the Stinger board just edges ahead of the competitor.
