FV43U: a Gigabyte UHD 43″ HDR 1000 display, all in 144 Hz!

Without further ado, we move on to a new display from Gigabyte/Aorus. With its 43″ diagonal, clearly, the FV43U is not a small screen, far from it! Moreover, this model is very high-end with a price around 1 300 €!

With this new reference, Gigabyte seems to want to satisfy users who like very big screens. Indeed, this new model is announced with a diagonal of 43″, or about 110 cm. If everything is not said (the screen has just been announced in Vietnam), we already know that it is certified HDR 1000 by VESA.

In the program, the brand offers us a UHD screen (3840 x 2160) despite an unknown type of slab. Although on this subject, some evoke a VA type of slab. For the rest, we know that this model has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time). Finally, this model takes advantage of Quantum Dot technology and offers a coverage of 97% of the DCI-P3 color range while offering a color depth on 10 bits. Currently, we do not know what synchronization technology it will take advantage of.

Finally, on a view of the back, we already know that this model has a USB 3.0 hub with two sockets. Regarding the outputs, same topos, nothing has been announced. However, given its characteristics, we can reasonably expect HDMI 2.1 and/or DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC according to Guru3D.

Finally, this model has already been seen in several stores in Asia. In Japan, its pre-order price is ¥168,000 compared to ¥34,990,000₫ (Dong) or in the €1,300 after conversion. All that remains is to know when this model will land in Europe… If it gets there at least.
