G80-3000N RGB TKL: Cherry makes new out of old!

At Cherry, we learn that the brand modernizes one of its old keyboards. Thus, the manufacturer offers us its G80-3000N RGB TKL, or how to make new with an old G80-3000.

G80-3000N RGB TKL: a TKL RGB keyboard in MX Silent Red from Cherry!

Cherry G80-3000N RGB TKL

With this model, Cherry offers a keyboard in TKL format, without numeric keypad. To type the numbers, you will have to use Shift + a special character. Nothing insurmountable, you just have to get used to it. Nevertheless, this allows you to free up a lot of space on the desktop, especially for the mouse.

In short, the brand offers us a model with dimensions of 335 x 130 x 38 mm and a weight of 664 g. Internally, we have the right to linear switches, MX Silent Red. In order to limit the noise, the brand has a small rubber base at the level of the plunger, which has the effect of damping the strike when we reach the end of the stroke.

For the rest, we have a relatively basic model with an RGB lighting system key by key. Similarly, we find an N-Key rollover with anti-ghosting or a Windows key lock function. The kind of features present on all or almost all mechanical keyboards on the market.

For the moment the price is not yet known, however, the brand puts online its technical data sheet.
