GALAX confirms RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3060

GALAX confirms RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3060

Although we knew these two cards were in NVIDIA’s boxes, a photo taken during a GALAX meeting leaves no doubt. The photo on the slide confirms the insertion of the RTX 3080 20GB model between the current 10GB version and the RTX 3090. There is also no reason to believe that the RTX 3090 will be superior to the RTX 3080. We can also see the appearance of the RTX 3060 graphics card which will certainly be a very interesting model for 1080p gamers. Even if several models were referring to an RTX 3060 Ti, this is not the case here.

Another model with the code name “PG142 SKU 0” is also in this list. This would be the name of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 SUPER or 3070 Ti. It’s hard to know at the moment if Nvidia will opt for the “Ti” or “Super” reference. This card should have a full TU104 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores.

It’s hard to tell from this picture when these new cards will be launched by NVIDIA. All rumors seem to converge around the launch date of the Radeon RX 6000 series. The RTX 3080 20GB model could be the counterpart of an RX 6900 XT with more than 10GB of memory.
All this is just speculation at the moment, but the coming weeks still hold many surprises in store for us, for our greatest pleasure!
