GeIL package their Enhance memory in a cardboard box and inside the modules are protected by plastic cases. We cans see the module design through windows in the box and GeIL are very clear about the speed and timings for these sticks on the packaging which is good to see.

The Enhance modules use a green PCB and attached are orange extended height heatsinks to each side of the sticks. GeIL place a part number sticker in the centre of the heatsinks and these tell is that each module contains 4GB of memory which will run at 1600MHz using 9-9-9-28 timings and 1.5v. GeIL have SPD and X.M.P. programmed the modules with the latter giving us the Enhanced settings of 1700MHz 9-9-9-28 on a 2T command rate.

NOTE: GeIL pre-test their memory modules in a process called DBT "Die-Hard Burn-In Technology". This process see’s the modules stressed, in GeILs own lab, at 100°C for up to 24 hours. Any modules which show errors are removed and not sold.
