We still get the plastic protectors on our memory and plenty of product information on the labels and stickers, far more than most manufacturers provide. Once again it is a case of green PCB and this time we move to a green-ish coloured extended heatsink which once again tells us what settings the memory is designed for. In this case the two 4GB modules are able to run at 2133MHz using 1.65v. GeIL programs these sticks with XMP capability and the timings used are 10-11-11-30-2T with SPD programming also available up to 1600MHz to ensure compatibility. So to access 2133MHz we simply enable XMP in the BIOS, save and reboot. Very easy, even for novice users. NOTE: GeIL pre-test their memory modules in a process called DBT "Die-Hard Burn-In Technology". This process see’s the modules stressed, in GeILs own lab, at 100°C for up to 24 hours. Any modules which show errors are removed and not sold. Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Share On
