Glacier One 240 T30 : a new AIO from Phanteks

Small tour at Phanteks which completes a little more its series of all-in-one watercooling kits. Indeed, the brand announces the arrival of its Glacier One 240 T30, a version equipped with premium T30 fans.

Glacier One 240 T30: an AIO with premium fans!

Phanteks Glacier One 240 T30With this new kit, Phanteks keeps its original design with a kit offering a 240mm heatsink. However, the latter is particularly thick, 38 mm, the same thickness as that of Arctic’s Liquid Freezer II. Moreover, the design of the pump remains unchanged with this kind of chasm formed by the RGB lighting.

Finally, what changes the most is the ventilation where the brand highlights its new T30 in 120 mm x 30 mm. If these may seem rough, it’s normal since they are made with reinforced fiberglass. Moreover, like Noctua’s NF-A12x25, the blades have a very small gap with the frame: only 0.5 mm.

In short, what interests us are their characteristics and there is a lot to say. First of all, they are powered by PWM, well, that’s classic. What is less, is the speed selector directly integrated into the hub of the mill. This last one will let you choose between three ventilation profiles:

  • 1200 RPM max: 39.1 CFM – 1.26 mmH2O
  • 2000 RPM max : 67 CFM – 3,30 mmH2O
  • 3000 RPM max: 101 CFM – 7.11 mmH2O

As you can see, it pushes very hard, especially at 3000 RPM where the fan displays a crazy static pressure! Moreover, what would be interesting to measure is the noise emitted by them in such conditions. But according to us, it will be reserved only in case of big overclocking, on punctual uses!

To finish, the pump, we know that it comes from Asetek, but we have no characteristics. And concerning the compatibility, it will be installed on socket LGA-2000/1000 and AMD TR4 and AM4.

This way to the Phanteks datasheet!
