H510 Pro BTC+: an ASRock miner’s card with six PCIe 3.0 x16!

H510 Pro BTC+: an ASRock miner’s card with six PCIe 3.0 x16!

We know, with mining (or in (large) part), that the price of GPUs has soared due to a severe lack of availability. So, talking about hardware dedicated to the practice, it may offend some, tatati, tatata… However, it is via this practice that we can see hardware truly original. Moreover, this is the case of the H510 Pro BTC+ from ASRock which arrives with a completely slammed format!

H510 Pro BTC+: an ASRock motherboard for mining that looks like nothing!

With this new hardware, the brand offers us a card designed for GPU mining. That’s why there are so many PCIe slots (six in this case) spaced out from each other. With such a spacing, it allows GPUs to breathe better and therefore to see their life expectancy increase. Or to allow the installation of triple slotcards.

For the rest, we have a motherboard with a typical entry-level configuration. Indeed, we have an Intel LGA-1200 socket and an H510 chipset, and a single DDR4 memory slot that can hold up to 32 GB of ECC memory or not, with a frequency of 3200 MHz with Comet Lake.

The storage part will be satisfied with a single SATA supplemented by a M.2 running in SATA. Finally, for the PCIe, the first port runs well in x16 to the 3.0 standard when the other five are in x1 3.0. We also note the possibility of attaching a seventh graphics card thanks to the USB port named ” mining port “.

As for the power supply, we note the presence of four power supply phases with 50A coils. Likewise, this model will require a 24-pin connector, although two others are present for a multi-power supply setup. Ditto, we’ll note the presence of several Molex connectors to properly power the PCIe.

Finally, don’t be fooled by the insane length of 50.1 cm of this model. Indeed, mining cards are not meant to be installed in a conventional case. On the contrary, they often take place in specially designed racks.

This time, we have a price for this type of solution. And here, this model signed ASRock is displayed at $279.99 on Newegg with availability on July 18th!
