The snowflake brand announces the arrival of a new heatsink. So here is the Hydrogon D120, a 120 mm dual-turn heatsink with good RAM compatibility. Hydrogon D120: the RAM friendly dual tower heatsink! For a double tower model, this reference is rather compact with a contained height of 153 mm. Same for the depth since it displays 112 mm for a width of 125 mm. On the weight side, we are at 885gr, which remains rather light for a heatsink of this type. Clearly, it should not have any difficulty to slip into a case. Double tower format obliges, we have two blocks of aluminum fins. Here, each tower is crossed by a total of six 6 mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes. These are announced as “high performance”. Likewise, to maximize RAM compatibility, the base is off-center. Silverstone uses two 120 mm aRGB fans for cooling. These will run at up to 1850 RPM and generate an airflow of 56.23 CFM. At full speed, the static pressure will rise to 1.98 mmH2O. Maximum compatibility with RAM, here on a mini-ITX card Despite a wide copper base, the heatsink does not display TR4/sTRX4 compatibility. Moreover, it will fit on LGA-2000, LGA-1200 and LGA-115x sockets at Intel. On the AMD side, we find support for AM4, and older sockets in AM3 and FM. Unfortunately, the brand did not announce the selling price of its heatsink. A little patience before knowing it. Click here for the Silverstone datasheet ! Share On
