iCUE 7000: a very big box arrives at Corsair!

iCUE 7000: a very big box arrives at Corsair!

After talking to you about the H170i Elite Capellix, we are back at Corsair. Indeed, in addition to its AIO, the brand announces the arrival of a new, big case. This famous case is the iCUE 7000 declined in two versions: one airflow, the other RGB with glass front!

iCUE 7000 : a big case for big watercooling installs !

Corsair iCUE 7000

With this new case, Corsair offers us a model known as big tower with imposing dimensions. You will have to deal with a case showing 248 (W) x 550 (D) x 600 (H) mm. All this, for a weight ranging from 18.7 kg to 19.8 kg. Yes, it’s still very heavy, and it’s linked to the use of steel and tempered glass.

Considering the dimensions, inside, you might as well say it, you will absolutely not be limited for your components. On the motherboard side, ATX models will fit without any problem. The same goes for the graphics cards: 45 cm free, against 19 cm for the CPU fans. At the level of the power supply, we have 225 mm of depth, enough to install any block.

However, where this model surprises is in its compatibility with watercooling. Indeed, it will be possible to install 420/480 mm radiator in front and 360/420 mm in the top. Similarly, next to the motherboard, we have a nice slot in 480 mm. Enough to make big and neat integrations!

The RGB version has a complete ventilation system with four lighted fans, while the airflow model has three. Note that for this second model, the front and the top are perforated to let the air flow through.

Endless options !

In any case, these cases come with a lot of interesting options. We think first of all of the panels mounted on hinges. The same goes for the interior with dedicated cabling aids (cable ducts and velcro strips). Both versions of the iCUE 7000 also offer a hub to manage up to six fans. However, the RGB model (the highest end), has the Commander Core XT, managing up to six additional fans and six RGB devices signed Corsair!

We will leave on the very complete control panel with four USB 3.0 and a USB Type C. In the lot, we will not forget to mention the integral filtration, or the possibility of mounting its graphics cards vertically. That’s right, we have a board provided that allows up to seven vertical slots.

The price that stings!

Clearly, the bill will be painful since it will cost 259.90 € for the Airflow model. The RGB version will be even more expensive with a price tag of €329.90. Note also that all this little world lands in black or white and that the color does not impact the price. And if you want to know more, the iCUE 7000X RGB test is available at Vonguru!

Here and there are the data sheets of Corsair!
