Intel Alder Lake-P 14 cores 20 threads on the run

An Alder Lake-P with 14 hearts and 20 threads made its first appearance on Geekbench. If we look at the Geekbench results page, the processor was able to reach a frequency of 4.7 GHz, probably on a single core. Note that this is the boost frequency, on average, the processor would run at 4.27 GHz. The Alder Lake-P series is the high-end series dedicated to laptops. To obtain a configuration of 14 cores and 20 threads, the CPU should offer 6 performance cores (Golden Cove) and 8 “small” cores (Garcemont). The configuration is thus 14 cores in total. Only the Golden Cove cores will have hyperthreading. This CPU would be equipped with 2.50 MB of L2 cache, 24 MB of L1 cache, while its Xe Graphics GPU would have 96 execution units (768 cores) at 1.15 GHz. CPU performance was not revealed in the OpenCL benchmark. However, the OpenCL benchmark reveals that the integrated graphics power is equivalent to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti desktop graphics card.

Intel Alder Lake-P

There is conflicting information on the availability of Alder Lake. As you can see, the notebook series may not have the same schedule as desktop processors. Here is a short summary to give you an idea of the differences between Alder Lake-S ( PC desktop ) and Alder Lake-P ( Laptop “performance” )
