Introducing the GeForce RTX 3080 Cyberpunk 2077 Edition

We had seen the 2080Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition, here is now its variation in RTX 3080. The card had been pushed by NVIDIA and we must admit that its design was rather nice. If we have the wrong mind, we’ll say that given the regular postponements of the game’s release date, it’s not impossible that we’re also witnessing the release of a RTX 3080 Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. Obviously, with the evolution of Ray Tracing’s performances on the new Ampere generation, we will say that this RTX 3080 corresponds a little more to the demand of the title. But in reality, this card is only there for the image and to make the fans salivate: it will obviously not be commercialized.

A mod and not a special edition :

The few copies that will be put into circulation will undoubtedly go to a handful of “influencers”. However, this copy does not appear to be a special limited edition from NVIDIA, but rather a card made by a modeler. So we know that for the moment there is only one unit in circulation. This will be raffled off among users of Bilibili (the Chinese YouTube). The Chinese site seems to have bet a lot on Cyberpunk 2077 for its end of the year animation with many prizes around the game theme like a OnePlus 8T, a gaming chair, joysticks, mouse… . Maybe soon we will see an “official” map of Nvidia on the theme of the game, but we understand that at this moment the chameleon does not want to give the stick to be beaten with a “limited edition” given the context.
