Keris Wireless: a customisable wireless mouse from Asus ROG!

We drop the cases and SSDs to focus on peripherals (a bit). Indeed, Asus ROG announces the arrival of a new mouse, this new model is none other than the Keris Wireless, a wireless model.

Keris Wireless: the wireless and customizable mouse from Asus ROG!

Asus ROG Keris Wireless

With this new model, the brand offers us a relatively light mouse of 79 gr for dimensions of 62 (W) x 118 (D) x 39 (H) mm. In spite of its ambidextrous shape, we are dealing with a model for right-handed people. Sorry left-handed people.

Otherwise, what do we find on this model? First of all, we will not fail to notice the presence of clicks in PBT. The interest behind this choice and to have buttons that will not shine over time, a bit like on keyboards. Likewise, fingerprints will not mark and a mouse will remain “clean” over time.

The second interesting point is the honeycomb structure under the shell. You know the principle, we remove material to lighten the whole and thus save a few grams on the scale. In addition, Asus follows the current trend by offering an ultra flexible braided cable, similar to the Model O or EndGame Gear XM1

for example.

Internally, we are entitled to a PixArt PAW3335 sensor with up to 16,000 DPI adjustable in four levels. Regarding the switches, Asus offers its in-house switches requiring a force of 5 grams for activation. Their lifetime is important since we are on 70 million clicks. Moreover, thanks to a clever system of sockets, a switch can be easily replaced. Ideal when they tire, break or to get a different feeling!

The brand also highlights the customizable side of its mouse. The latter goes through RGB lighting on the one hand, but also through removable side buttons. You can then choose red, gray or black, without even disassembling your mouse, cool isn’t it?

Finally, who says wireless mouse says battery and autonomy. On this subject, the battery should offer something correct with 78h of autonomy without lighting and 52h with RGB in breathing mode. For recharging, this will be done via a USB Type C cable, there is no risk of getting the wrong direction!

The price ?

In terms of price, this Keris Wireless ROG is available everywhere on the net at a price of 99€. A pricing that seems to be in the nails in view of the current market and what it offers on paper!

Here is the Asus data sheet !
