Kryonaut Extreme: a paste for extreme overclocking!

Kryonaut Extreme: a paste for extreme overclocking!

In the world of extreme overclocking, you don’t just put any thermal paste on your CPU. Indeed, in extreme temperature conditions (well below 0°C), some references tend to “crack”. This breaks their conductive effect. In this field, one is particularly well illustrated: Thermal Grizzly’s Kryonaut. Speaking of this brand, you should know that it has just announced a new paste reference, the Kryonaut Extreme, intended for these same particular uses!

With this new paste, the brand announces a product capable of conducting heat in normal and extreme conditions. Indeed, this new model should not crack, even at -250°C, ideal for nitrogen overclocking for example. In the same vein, we have a paste that will not dry despite temperatures of 80°C.

In terms of composition, the brand announces the use of nano particles of aluminium oxide and tin. The aim is to fill in as far as possible the irregularities in the IHS of the CPU and the base of the cooling system used. In fact, the conductivity is announced at 14.2 W/mk where the “basic” Kryonaut displays 12.5 W/mk. Finally, there is a non-conductive product.

As for the price, this new paste will not be given away as it costs 89.95€ per 9 ml. Otherwise, a small 2g syringe is available at around 20 euros.
