LAN Mode for Starcraft 2

Speaking at Blizzcon Greg Canessa the developer for Battle.net explained that they are working on a solution where by players can still get the low ping experience LAN games offer while also maintaining some kind of connection to Battle.net. As for what this means exactly is still to be decided, while this is a part solution there’s still going to be fans disappointed that they aren’t getting a fully offline LAN mode.
