Macs in ARM should arrive in November

Apple had announced its plan to switch from Intel processors to its own ARM (Apple Silicon) solutions according to a 2-year timetable.

The first stage of this process should take place during the month of November (the date of 17 November is mentioned). A specific presentation event, as Apple knows how to do, should be held with a presentation and marketing in the wake.

First step of Apple’s emancipation

This first step is relatively important for Apple. First of all, it will allow the American brand to measure the “psychological” impact of this change on its customers. Finally, it is clearly the interest of this change that will be gauged by specialists, particularly in terms of performance.

A “mac mini” development kit with ARM CPU

The products that should be launched are probably two Macbooks. As we mentioned some time ago, the CPU that should be used would be a version of the A14X Bionic already integrated in the latest Ipad Pro and Iphone 12. This solution would take place in a possible Mac book Pro 12″ whose main assets would be its lightness and autonomy.

more powerful 12 Cores version could be installed in a 13″ MacBook Pro.

A turn to be observed even for those who are not at Apple

One might think that this change only concerns the Apple community, but it seems more important to us and we will have to measure the reception of its solutions by the general public. Finally, even if everyone agrees that the apple won’t be able to respond (at least initially) on the field of pure performance, it will also be interesting to see how Apple is packaging all this from a marketing point of view.
