Makashi II: a new case from Enermax!

Small tour at Enermax which announces the arrival of a new case. The manufacturer indeed unveils its Makashi II, a rather imposing case. The particularity of this model? Its E-ATX motherboard support and its RGB lighting on the front panel.

Makashi II: an E-ATX compatible case from Enermax!

Enermax Makashi II

With its new case, Enermax offers us a relatively imposing reference. This model has dimensions of 219 (W) x 450 (D) x 495 (H) mm. These dimensions allow it to accommodate motherboards ranging from mini-ITX to E-ATX. There is also plenty of room for 410 mm long graphics cards, a 161 mm high CPU fan and a 200 mm cageless HDD power supply.

Speaking of HDD cages, you should know that the HDD cage is removable. It contains two 3.5″/2.5″ compatible baskets. Otherwise, we find four 2.5″ slots placed at the level of the second column of cable passage. The fourth slot is located at the back of the motherboard tray.

On the cooling side, there will be room to install up to eight 120mm fans. A windmill can be placed at the back and on the power supply cover, while the rest is distributed between the front and the top of the case. For watercooling, there is a 360/280 mm compatibility at the top. On the front, this compatibility will be exclusively in 360/240/120 mm.

For cabling, the brand announces a more than comfortable space with 25 mm at the back of the motherboard tray. That’s enough to easily manage the cabling, especially if you opt for RGB with a whole bunch of controllers!

Finally, for the price, you’ll have to wait a little bit more since the brand hasn’t communicated anything about it.

Here is the Enermax data sheet !
