MSI MEG Z590 ACE Gold EditionFirst of all, a little reminder about this model. Thus, MSI offers us a motherboard in ATX format with a rather rich connectivity is provided. We can count on the presence of two PCIe 4.0 x16, one PCIe 3.0 x4 (x16 format) and two PCIe 3.0 x1.

On the storage level, same observation, we have what we need since the card embarks six SATA III connectors. This set is also completed by a M.2 4.0 x4 as well as three others to the PCIe 3.0 x4 standard.

Regarding memory, four DDR4 slots are included. Via these, the card will be able to take in up to 128 GB of RAM running at 5600 MHz max.

The power supply part is solid with 16+2+1 power supply phases. The processor will also benefit from a double EPS12V connector with eight pins.

Finally, at the back, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports in USB Type C. The network part benefits from a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet driven by an Intel I225V chip and a 6E AX210 WiFi part. And for the audio, we have the right to an ALC4082 chip coupled with a DAC ESS SABRE9018Q.

The price, we indicated in the title: $629 according to Guru3D ! Yes, it hurts the wallet. Finally, if you’ve fallen for this model and its gray and gold colors, you’ll have to wait until July 2 before seeing it in our stores.
