We are testing at 1920×1200 with 4x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering. Looking first at the single GPU results we see that there is a clear early leader in this test, the Gainward 8800 GTS. This should come as no real surprise as it has the highest specifications (and price). Looking further down the scale to the 9600 series cards we see that the XFX XXX model is the best performing card in this class. The Asus 3850 OC gives us some very impressive framerates for such a low priced card when we take into account the high settings used here. It would be better suited to a lower resolution overall though. When we connect two 9600GT’s in SLI the framerates take a significant jump as expected and an average framerate of 83 is excellent.
