With this new reference, MSI offers us a board in standard ATX format. It features an Intel LGA-1200 socket, the latest one, as well as a Z490 chipset, a set designed for the 10th generation of Core i of the blue.

As far as the connections are concerned, we have four RAM slots with up to 128 GB of RAM clocked at 4800 MHz (under conditions). As for PCIe now, the card has three PCIe x16 3.0. Two more PCIe x1 3.0 add to the total.

As far as the storage part is concerned, we stay on something very classical with six SATA III and two M.2 ports. Moreover, the M.2 take advantage of a heat sink to avoid thermal throttling during intensive use.
