New AMD based mobile phone to use Windows XP

New AMD based mobile phone to use Windows XP

In Technology Group Limited have just released information on their new xpphone interface. This new phone is being promoted as the first phone to use a ‘real’ version of Windows XP for its base OS. This is due to the fact that the xpphone is actually the first device to use a real X86 processor. In Technology Group are calling it the AMD SUPER MOBILE CPU and it is capable of dealing with 1GB of ram, as well as a 64GB SSD or 120GB mechanical drive.

They are keen to promote this phone has having all the functionality of a laptop, GPS and fully featured mobile phone and they want to build in VOIP functions as well.

We think it looks rather nifty and hopefully we will have more information shortly.
