NM620: Lexar Offers Three PCIe Gen3 SSDs

In the world of SSDs, we learn today that Lexar announces a new series. With its NM620, the brand offers three SSDs in M.2 format with a PCIe 3.0 interface. With these models, the manufacturer announces references six times faster than a SATA SSD.

NM620: SSDs Six Times Faster Than SATA SSDs!

Lexar NM620 With this new batch, the brand unveils three models with capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. As you may have guessed, we are dealing with models in M.2 2280 format with a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and compatible with the NVMe 1.4 standard. Internally, we have the right to 3D TLC type memory, but the controller remains unknown, too bad.

On the other hand, what interests us most is the performance on paper. Lexar announces, at the maximum, sequential speeds of 3300 MB/s in reading against 3000 MB/s in writing. The random performances are, as for them, of 300k IOPS in reading and 256k IOPS in writing.

We finish with the prices of these three SSDs. Thus, the 512GB model arrives at $89.99 while it will cost $159.99 for the 1TB. Concerning the 256GB version, it is already available at Alternate for 65.90€.
