OCZ RevoDrive X2 240GB PCIe SSD Review

4K QD32 Performance (CrystalDiskMark)

In this test a mechanical drive such as the Barracuda XT or VelociRaptor score around 2.0/1.5MB/s which gives us a baseline figure for performance and really tells us just how impressive each of these drives is when compared to a fast traditional drive.

In our original review we stated that the Revodrive was more than 100x faster than the fastest mechanical drives which is hugely impressive. The X2 takes those results and blows them away, finishing 158.8MB/s ahead of the older model in read performance. We also noted in the original article that this was one test where the C300 was slightly faster than the RevoDrive, that is now no longer the case.
