Optix MAG301RF: a new MSI display in WFHD!

Optix MAG301RF: a new MSI display in WFHD!

After the M28U from Gigabyte, it’s MSI’s turn to launch a new monitor. The new reference of the dragon is none other than the Optix MAG301RF a WFHD (Wide Full HD) screen. If this acronym does not speak to you, you should know that it is a resolution of 2560 x 1080.

Optix MAG301RF: a 2560 x 1080 screen!

MSI Optix MAG301RF With this new screen, MSI offers us a reference in 21:9 format with a diagonal of 29.5″. Regarding the resolution, this (Rapid) IPS panel offers a display of 2560 x 1080.

However, despite an IPS panel, we have a reactive reference… Very reactive even since it displays a frequency of 200 Hz and a response rate of 1 ms MPRT. Moreover, we can count on a G-Sync compatibility.

On the other hand, it will be difficult to say anything related to the contrast or brightness. The brand does not say anything about them and it’s a shame. However, we know that this model covers 85% of the DCI-P3 color range and 105% of the sRGB spectrum. Finally, MSI mentions an HDR Ready monitor.

We quickly finish with the connectivity that offers a DisplayPort 1.2a, two HDMI 2.0b and a USB Type C (as an alternative to DisplayPort). Of course, there is also a USB HUB with two Type A 2.0 ports and an adjustable stand.

Unfortunately, we have no idea how much this reference will cost.
